Entry Systems Shares Why We Care

On July 20th, 2023, Entry Systems donated our time to install a brand-new garage door system for disabled veteran Lance Corporal Galvan. The garage door was supplied by CHI Garage Doors, and the garage door opener by Liftmaster. Homes For Our Troops coordinated the construction of the home and all the contractors involved. In this video, Bev, one of the Entry Systems family owners, talks about why participating in the project was important to her.

Our garage door installer David talks about how he feels about having the opportunity to install the new garage door system for Homes For Our Troops chosen veteran.

Garage Door Manager John also talks about this opportunity.

The Finished Product

Despite the heat, our team finished the installation of a brand-new CHI garage door, custom-made to fit an 18x8 opening. The final product was a White CHI 5216 steel front and back polyurethane insulated garage door with windows. The panel design was a short, stamped carriage, and the windows were the four-piece Stockton design. We also installed a Liftmaster 87504 belt drive garage door opener for this traditional style garage door installation.

We look forward to attending the key ceremony in late September where we meet the community, other contractors involved in the project, and most importantly, the new homeowner and his wife!
