Replacing broken springs are one of the most common services we provide.

Garage door torsion springs often go unnoticed until they break. Most garage doors have two springs that run along the top of the garage door. It is sometimes possible to visually see a separation in the coil when there is a broken spring. Often, the garage door is so heavy it is no longer possible for the operator to open it. This is because these springs are high powered springs that counterbalance the weight of the garage door and assist in the operation. These torsion springs should only be replaced or adjusted by a trained garage door professional and can be very dangerous to work with. Therefore, we do not sell torsion springs to non-professionals.

  • Every garage door spring replacement includes a warranty and free maintenance and adjustments for your garage door and opener.
  • Our trucks are fully stocked with every spring size to ensure the quickest possible service.
  • Custom wood doors may require special order springs.
  • Most spring replacements can be completed within 45 minutes.

Types of Garage Door Springs

Standard Springs

Standard springs installed on most homes are oil-tempered and have the industry standard rating of 10,000 cycles. The lifecycle for standard springs is approximately 5-7 years. This depends on how many times you open and close your door daily.

Warranty info: 3 Years on all springs, 1 Year labor warranty for torsion springs

High-Cycle

These springs are engineered for heavy duty use. This means that compared with standard springs they can withstand higher degrees of pressure for longer time spans. Therefore, they are rated for a longer life expectancy.

Standard spring sizes are available on all our trucks.

Warranty Info: Lifetime warranty on material (as long as you own your home), 2 Years on labor
